This express train locomotive with the number 18 201, of the German Reichsbahn, was built from 1960 to 1961 in the Reichsbahn Ausbesserungswerke Meiningen. It was constructed from parts of the Henschel Wegmann locomotive 61 002, the tender 44-468 and parts of the H 45-024 and a locomotive from the 41 series.
