Camtech D/A converter "Digital Analog Wandler"

Contents of the lot: Camtech Digital Analog Wandler with manual and all the photos on CD-Rom. Included are: 1 x top class toslink optical digital cable. 1 x AES/EBU to RCA (cinch) digital cable. 1 x top class RCA interconnect to connect the Wandler with your amplifier. More cables available in consultation. Top class D/A converter, year of manufacture is 2000. In the 1990s, this was the best D/A Converter you could buy for a decent amount. if you wanted a better one, you would have to spend 10,000 at least and you would have to look at Mark Levinson, Wadia or Burmester. By today’s standards it is still a very good device with a pleasant sound across the entire spectrum. Brand: Camtech. Model: Digital Analog Wandler. In production: 1993 - 2004 (and perhaps even longer). Made in: Germany and UK (under the name Audiolab). Energy consumption: 28 watts. Dimensions: 44 x 14 x 39 cm. (WxHxD) Weight: 8.5 kg. Digital inputs: 4 x Coax, 3 x optical (tos-link), 1 x AES/EBU. Outputs: 2 x RCA (cinch). Frequency reach: 2 - 20,000 Hz. The device is in good condition but does have a small damage at the top. The damage is shown up close in the last 4 photos by means of a macro lens. The last 8 images are scans from the German magazines STEREOPLAY and STEREO. These are articles in which the technology and the sound of the Camtech is grilled in a typical German way. All vintage audio equipment offered by me for sale is professionally checked before taking pictures. A complete test is done by electro-technicians at this company. The devices have always been cleaned and repaired and re-adjusted where needed. The receiver will be packaged twice following all art regulations, boxed twice in specially purchased boxes of very heavy quality. Pick up in Haren, near Groningen, is also possible.
