Unlabelled violin in great condition recently restored by a master violin maker of Cremona. The violin maker himself, attributed the instrument to the German school of Saxony, late 19th/early 20th century. Model, tips, thread and especially the head, are typical of that school, while the F-holes are more refined than usual. Single bottom block in maple wood, with tangential cut. Head, bands and threads in maple, soundboard in spruce. Original brown/gold alcohol varnish. Dimensions (mm): case length 355 caseUpper Bout: 164Lower Bout: 207Centre CC: 111New Ebony Frame keyboard. Warchal Brilliant strings The tool has had some repairs done in previous years, in perfect condition. Bridge and sound post just redone The violin is perfectly ready for use. Has a warm, dark and powerful tone. The lot includes only the instrument, no bow, case or other accessories. The violin does not have a certificate of origin, just attribution.
