This turntable has 2 speeds. The left button is for setting the speed, the button for the built-in arm lift is on the right. The light arm (Philips called this ELM, Extra Low Mass), is balanced by turning the counterweight at the rear. The needle pressure is adjustable, the transversal pressure compensation is not. The Erres version of this player is the Erres TX1317.
