Fiat - 500 L - 1970

Valid inspection: until 11/07/2018 Displacement: 466.5 cc 4-speed gearbox, NOT synchronised DESCRIPTION I am moving so unfortunately I have to offer on sale this beautiful Fiat 500 L model. This vehicle made the history of Italy and it still makes you fall in love. The item still has the first registration license plates, original booklet, user’s and maintenance booklet, and it has the certificate of historical importance by ASI; this means a €30 car tax cost and reduced insurance (in Italy). I am the 4th owner of this Fiat 500 L: 1st - a primary school teacher purchased the car in Brescia in October 1970; 2nd - in July 1978 the vehicle went to an old woman from Iseo (BS); 3rd - in June 2002 the vehicle was sold to a nurse in Brescia; 4th - in October 2006 I purchased this Fiat 500 L. RESTORATION Bodywork: available CD with all photos of restoration. The 500 was, naturally, completely disassembled, restored and reassembled. Bottom is new. The rusty sheet metal parts were cut and new ones were welded. Bottom and paint in oven with original factory colour. Car is in like new condition; no scratches, no bubbles, no rust, shiny paint. Interior: restoration was made by me and my upholsterer. The carpet was unscrewed and washed. Rubber mats are a new old stock, found by accident. Upholstery of seats was redone. Linings, panels, and plastic parts were replaced or renewed. Please note the beige cotton covers I purchased to protect the sky ones and make travelling in warmer months more comfortable. Engine: fully disassembled and redone by my trusted mechanic. Gearbox was degreased, differential replaced, increased drive shafts mounted. List of all the works done is available and accessible. Consumption are consistent with those declared by Fiat. Maximum speed is almost 103 km/h. Car starts at first try, also after a month spent sleeping in the garage. Please look carefully at photos attached; among the many details, you will notice a red bundle on the rear seat. This is the cover for classic cars to prevent dust and scratches, I purchased it to protect the vehicle when it was stored in garage. Just to let you understand how much I care for this vehicle. This is a showroom car. This car can be viewed and picked up in Mestre (VE), Italy.
