The BeoGram 2202 was a beautiful design, with slanted dust cover, and operation outside of this dust cover. The functions are illuminated by a light when they are used. The lights were tested by me and replaced where needed. The BeoGram is fully automatic, so choosing between LP and single is automatic, when starting the record player, it “weighs” the record, it is a single up to about 30 grams, and an LP above a certain weight. This determines the diameter choice and speed. It cannot be easier. This player was revised by me, lightly lubricated the motor, cleaned the switches, and the mechanism of the machine always comes out, often appears to be working properly, but there is always dust on the plastic gear and this makes it difficult for the turnoff, so the needle can be damaged. The platter has been stabilised by means of a heavy built in ring. The cartridge matches this player, and has been tested on blockiness, is fully functional. Diameters and speeds were checked.
