good condition - 4.3 kg - 19th century
Contains a beautiful heavy mortar in cast bronze, in a classic model which corresponds to the end of a gun. On the belly, there are two bands with floral motifs including one with birds, Above a band with inscription Heindrick ter Horst me fecit anno 1607. The mortar has a wide rim and two beautifully shaped handles on both sides with animal heads and is supposedly an example of a 17th century mortar from the 19th century. The mortar is in very good condition, it has a beautiful patina, the piece has a weight of 4.3 kg and a diameter of no less than 21.5 cm. This lot carefully packed and sent by registered mail with signature required upon delivery, it can also be picked up.
