The watch has a silver dial, which is beautifully decorated in a very detailed manner with silver and gold ornaments.
The dial features wonderful gold Roman numeral markers and dark blue hands.

The solid silver case is in very good condition.
The case is marked sterling silver multiple times, indicating London, 1862.
The watch has a "fusee" system, in which a very small chain ensures an even tension on the movement.

The movement is signed 'T. Donisthorpe, Bedale'.
The movement is also numbered: 2888. The same number can be found on the silver case.
The watch runs well and comes with a matching key.
The diameter of the pocket watch is 50 mm including the button, it is 43 mm without the button.
