1973 - 1974, Delft
Two vases from the Porceleyne Fles in Delft in wonderful condition, manufactured in 1973 and 1974. A lidded vase and a knob vase, both decorated in the so-called Pijnacker-decor.
Pijnacker was the ‘Imari’ porcelain of De Porceleyne Fles for some time, in which, amongst others, red and blue base tints were used. Though it especially drew attention because of the use of 24 carat gold. A very costly process, the reason it wasn’t in production for a long time. It was also very expensive when it first appeared in the shops... It explains the few years that these products were made.
The lidded vase has a height of 21 centimetres, the knob vase is 20.5 cm. high. The decorators are Mrs. J. Breedveld, Mrs. N. Vogelaar and Mrs. M. v.d. Holst (lid).
These two Delft gems will, of course, be very carefully packed and sent by registered and insured mail. Pick-up in Den Bosch, The Netherlands, is also possible.
