A beautiful and very old English silver fusee pocket watch, in good condition.
It white, enamelled dial features black, Roman numerals and an off-centre second hand. It has a very light hairline crack and minor damage to the side, barely visible.
Looks beautiful, classic and elegant.
The solid silver case is in very good condition.
This also features multiple English silver hallmark, indicating the city of London and the year 1863.
The inside has a beautiful engraving:
'Presented by The Correspondence Society of the Friends of Labour Association to Mr John Thompson as a mark of esteem for his Services as Chairman. Feb 4th 1864'.
All lids close well and give a sturdy impression.
The movement runs well and features a fusee system, very high quality.
The movement is protected by the original dust lid.
The watch comes with a matching key.
The diameter with crown is 59 mm, without the crown it is 50 mm.
The watch weighs 106 grams.
The watch will be packaged with care and shipped by registered post.
