Philips Bi-Ampli stereo tube radio type B6 X63 A
This B6 X 63 A is the bigger and improved brother of the B5 X 63 A.
The number of tubes with different functions is 9.
Where the B5 has 2 speakers, the B6 is equipped with 3 speakers which produce a great sound.
This actually is a new radio in old packaging.
The bad capacitors have been renewed as well as the bad resistors and tubes.
The radio is equipped with 2 separate amplifiers.
Tuning the antenna on the inside is done on the front left, the button behind the volume knob. Photo 25.
Double tone control with a graph indication.
Separate tuning pointers for AM and FM with a flywheel drive.
Despite the present antenna working well, an external antenna is recommended.
The veneer of the the cabinet was damaged and has been lacquered.
The radio will be shipped in a separate packaging to avoid damage during transport.
The radio can also be picked up of course.
