Porceleyne Fles Delft - Four cloisonné tiles, crows in the snow, dog at a sunflower, elephant and a fisherman at water’s edge
Four cloisonné tiles, of which three by De Porceleyne Fles from the series ‘Dieren Klein’. All after a design by L.E.F. Bodart and made between 1920-1930. This concerns two crows in the snow, a dog with a potted sunflower and a fairly rare tile depicting an elephant.
The fourth tile is also fairly rare, with a depiction of a fisherman at water’s edge.
Condition:
1. Tile with a depiction of crows has a small spot at the corner, see photos.
2. Tile with a depiction of a dog has two spots on a corner, see photos.
3. Tile with a depiction of an elephant is glued on a corner and has spots on the edge, see photos.
4. Tile with a depiction of a fisherman has a minor spot on the reverse, see photo.
The dimensions are 11.5 x 11.5 cm.
The lot will be sent by registered mail. Pick-up in Leiden, The Netherlands, is also possible.
