Magnificent Revolver Chicago Firearms Protector Palm Pistol 1893
THE PROTECTOR PATH.MCH.6.83.AUG.29.93
(The Chicago Palm pistol).
Originally called the Minneapolis Palm Pistol, the Chicago Palm pistol began as copy of the Turbiaux French pistol, the protector system Turbiaux.
This Palm-Size weapon design was patented in 1883 by the firearms company Minneapolis, then sold to Peter Finnegan of Austin, Illinois. Mr. Finnegan has created the Chicago firearms company and immediately contracted with the company of sword and weapon of Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts, to make the pistol in time to introduce it to the Columbian exposition - the Chicago world fair of 1892.
