An interesting collector's item!!
This is an American Sarouk - reimport from America.
That is, in the years 1906-1910 America did a so-called barter with Iran:
Carpets came to America, and agricultural machines went to Persia.
That is what it says in history books, in reality they traded weapons.
A piece that clearly stands out from the large carpets of this style is
the so-called American Sarouk.
The medallion is only hinted at on the salmon-coloured background, one speaks of a LOUVRE pattern because the mosaic in the Louvre in Paris has a similar pattern. Floral arrangements dotted on a red background
