Kienzle tachograph - Oldtimer bus truck built before 1963

KIENZLE type TCO 11-4/7 tachometer with clock tachograph, tachograph of 90 km/h for bus or truck Old antique tachograph Kienzle, original condition - nothing is tinkering - as far as I can tell it works - a beautiful accessory for classic bus or truck up to 90 km/h, year of manufacture 1963, type TCO 11-4, by the company Kienzle Apparate GmbH Villingen. As market leader, the Villinger "Kienzle Taximeter and Apparatus AG", whose ticket price indicator were used under the name "Argo" . The first taximeter manufactured by Kienzle was the ARGO T 3 (1920-1925), then they built the square ARGO T 4 (1926-1935) and later the space-saving installable ARGO T 12 (1956-1967). Initially, the chunky taximeter was a combination of an odometer and a clock, and by today, it developed into a modern on-board computer with management functions. The last mechanical taximeters were banished from taxis in the mid-1980s, when new sliding-scale tariffs were introduced in many German cities. The step from mechanics to electronics was ultimately inevitable. Dimensions: 15 cm wide, 12 cm deep, 17 cm high. Weight 2 kg
