Great display piece! Beautiful, rare ‘borzoi’ figurine from the Thuringia establishment. C. 1930 by H. Postl. Very naturalistic design - observant and yet peaceful and relaxed. Delicately painted colours under the glaze. This large dog figurine is an extremely nice example of the most popular animal portrayals from the time of German Art Nouveau. Stamped on the base. Hand painted Very well preserved. See photos. Dimensions: height approx. 24 X length 40 X 11 cm wide.
