Very good condition - small lack in the middle finger of the left hand
Superb large Christ in ivory of Dieppe from the late 17th century / early 18th century, finely carved with tibia's, skull and titulus.
Christ with the head tilted on the left shoulder with the face with open eyes, mouth open with visible teeth.
Short beard in small wavy locks, hair in long drooping curls on the shoulders, beautiful crown of thorns.
The perizonium retained by a cord with lateral fall, leaving the left leg uncovered, the right leg slightly bent.
Exceptional details in the expression of the face, of the muscles, feet, hands...
Beautiful wood and gilt stucco of time.
