The woodblock watermark center is one of the main core businesses of Rongbaozhai. It is a century-long history and glorious achievement along with Rongbaozhai's gold-letter signboard. In 2006, the State Council was listed as one of the first national intangible cultural heritage projects. The woodblock watermark technique is a special printing technique developed and developed by Rong Bao Zhai on the basis of Chinese traditional engraving and printing techniques. The word woodblock watermark is the name of Rongbaozhai during the early years of the founding of the Republic of China according to the particularity of the materials used in the process of copying Chinese painting and calligraphy, such as the use of materials, the use of color, and the adjustment of water. It is one of the ancient engravings in China and was first recorded in the Sui Dynasty. In Guangxu Bingshen (1896), Rong Baozhai established the “Rongbao Zhaitie Envelope” at Liulichang Wells Hutong No.2. The binding process covers the posts, organizes the imprinting staff, and self-prints the poetry letterhead. From then on Baozhai has its own printing workshop and has inherited the traditional "Suiban" printing technology, laying the foundation for the development of woodblock watermarks. Since Rong Bao Zhai established the “post cover works” to woodblock watermarking techniques, during the more than 110 years, the woodblock watermarking business was handed down from generation to generation. Especially during the more than 50 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China, Rong Baozhai has developed a thousand years of traditional art of engraving and printing to a very high level. Until today, Rong Bao Zhai engraving and printing techniques have been the sixth generation descendants.
