Offered here is a beautiful ammolite specimen in a clear "membrane" display box. The colourful and bright ammolite specimen measures approximately 5cm. X 3cm and 0.8cm thick at its thickest point. The display box measures 9cm. X 7cm. X 2cm. It displays bright greens with highlights of blues, oranges, golds and reds. This specimen is suitable for display or possibly wire wrapping. It is not a completely polished and stabilized gemstone.
Ammolite is one of the rarest gemstones on Earth. It is found in one small 10 sq. km pocket of southern Alberta, Canada.
