The legendary Nordmende WorldreceiverGlobetrotter 808 - made in Germany...

The world receiver is functional and has a beautiful deep sound.

A real eye-catcher in black, anthracite, with shiny chrome. 


Reception range: LW, MW, multiple shortwave bands plus 
FM/FM. 

The Globetrotter 808 is an SSB-compatible case receiver from German production that allows the reception of 11 shortwave radio bands with band spread via a drum tuner, but with a purely analogue frequency reading.
 
A radio of the top class!

Power/batteries: 110, 127, 220.240 Volt- 6 x 1.5 Volt batteries 

The offered world receiver, as per attached pictures, is visually and technically in good original condition. 

The casing has no cracks. All controls, the buttons and the scale are in good condition. 

The antenna is complete and straight. 



Nice optical condition, but with relatively small signs of use or age. 

Signs of wear after approx. 41 years!

Very beautiful transistor radio in excellent condition 
A true eye-catcher and collector’s item. 
The 41-year old radio is in age-appropriate well-kept condition. 

The radio was kept in a showcase for a long time and is a true rarity! 

It can be picked up by appointment. 
If the receiver is shipped, I can’t guarantee for its proper functionality anymore, even if it’s packaged extremely carefully and securely; this is why it’s better to take a look at it, try it and take it home. 

The dimensions are: 40 x 27 x 13 cm and the weight is 5.4 kg.
