This rare Chieftain convertible from 1951 in a very original and complete condition and comes from Venezuela. You are probably highly unlikely to find this model in Europe, meaning it has a highly unique selling point and corresponding potential for increasing in value. Of the first model ranges from 1949 to 1954, the 1951 Chieftains are the most sought-after in terms of year, because it was only from this year that the cockpit was equipped with additional instruments (ammeter, oil pressure-, temperature- and fuel gauge). The engine starts immediately and runs smoothly. The paint and chrome are well preserved, the interior has been completely and lovingly patinated. Welding work has been necessary on the underbody but the body is very solid. The car offers a straightforward foundation for a relatively easy partial restoration with a reliable prospect of it appreciating in value.
