Offered here is a beautiful one-of-a-kind ammolite free-form natural gemstone.
This gemstone is roughly marquis in shape measuring approximately 46mm. X 25mm. and approximately 3 mm thick at the thickest part. It weighs 36 carats and has a wonderful transition of colours from bright reds to blue and all the colours in between.
This gemstone is finely polished. It is also stabilized at high temperature and pressure for durability.
As it is ammolite, it is still fairly soft measuring approximately 3.5 on the mohs scale. It is suitable for a pendant or earrings but the seller does not recommend its use in a ring (with the exception of a high bezel setting).

Ammolite is one of the rarest gemstones on Earth. It is found in one small 10 sq. km pocket of southern Alberta, Canada.
