Natural Fossil Placenticeras intercalare From St. Mary River Basin in Alberta, Canada

Offered here is a natural, one-of-a-kind ammolite fossil. This Placenticeras intercalare fossil is approximately 16cm. in diameter and 4 cm. in width at the widest part. It weighs 894g and has flashes of bright colours on both sides. It displays primarily burgundies and rich reds but has flashes of oranges, golds and greens when the angle changes. It has quite a lot of colour for a small ammonite from Canada.
