Ca. 1840.

“Die Erde” by JG Klinger of Nuremberg.

Technical and scientific antique tool.

Important miniature globe made of wood or hard material (quite heavy) with twelve coloured zones engraved by hand.
Equator, meridians, Tropics, continents and the ecliptic are well represented in blue, yellow, green and red, with their main geographical features. There are also some places like Antarctica, New Holland, Van Diemen’s Land, etc. With brass axis and cardboard box.
The box is a bit dirty and has depicted the scene of three students with two balloons and a map.
