Beautiful large gold pocket watch (verge escapement), 21 kt. From before 1850. Marked with a bull. The watch has a unique closable case for the balance. It has wonderful tooled gold dial with cutaway Roman numerals. The top is also marked with a bull.
The watch is in perfect condition. Weight: 97.2 g, rose gold Diameter of the watch is 55 mm, number 10393.
The watch maker is Etienne Augustine le Roy. Etienne worked in Paris. Made pocket watches in the period 1758–1800. The mark bull 03 = from around 1809. The name is marked on the inner lid. (see the various photos)
The watch will be shipped by registered post. A jewel for in your collection. Due to circumstances I have to part with it. It runs well.
