Ring with Wedjat-eye, Ø 2 cm
The Wedjat-eye (also referred to as Horus or Re-eye) was one of the most ubiquitous and powerful amuletic symbols in ancient Egypt. A combination of the human eye and falcon markings of the sun-god Horus, it represented regeneration and restoration. Rings such as these were very popular during the New Kingdom.
