Signed: Boud Ceysens
Born in Neerpelt (Belgium) on 15 October 1965, as son of the late visual artist Willy Ceysens. Studied at the municipal higher institute for visual communication and design in Genk. Diploma: bronze caster.
Visual artist Boud Ceysens is captivated by beauty and fascinated by humans and interpersonal relations, and he tries to combine both these aspects in his work. Here in the studio, Boud lets the bronze or aluminium flow into the shape of statues, the statues are "images" of turmoil inside himself and of what he observes around him, or believes to observe.
