Very interesting letter, sent by Quatremere de Quincy to a librarian in Bruxelles, in which he asks for his support in finding some books of importance for him.
A special collectible and at the same time an important letter.
The writing and the signature belong 100% to Quatremere de Quincy, I have checked this on the site of French Academy.
The letter is in a very good condition given its age.
* Antoine-Chrysostome Quatremère de Quincy was a French armchair archaeologist and architectural theorist, a Freemason, and an effective arts administrator and influential writer on art. [Wikipedia]
