"Kleurexplosie" (Explosion of colours", handwoven tapestry in Gobelin technique, size 90 x 120
A tapestry woven using the old Gobelin technique, with colour-fast and moth resistant French wool.
The carpet is new, it was woven by me in 1997, and hasn't been purchased by anyone else before.
I have woven tapestries using the Gobelin technique for over 30 years, on an original French basse-lise loom.
My work has been exhibited and sold in galleries on various occassions.
I have also had the privileged to exhibit my tapestries in the Grand Church of Zwolle and the Lebuinus church in Deventer, as well as the Nairac museum in Barneveld.
