About NETZ Charity OrganisationThis week we have a special charity auction at Catawiki, organised in favour of NETZ Partnership for Development and Justice Bangladesh. Dr. Walter and Maria Ott have donated their collection of early and rare serigraphs by German Concrete artist and designer Jo Niemeyer (*1946) to be auctioned for NETZ Bangladesh initiative. NETZ is a charitable and independent organisation registered in Germany and Bangladesh. Since 1979, full time employees, volunteers, individuals, supporter groups and enterprises have engaged in actions to end poverty in Bangladesh. Together with local partner organisations NETZ supports self-help for nutrition, education and human rights. Jo Niemeyer's work is based on the observation of the nature through the use of mathematics and, especially, the "Golden Section".
