1960s, Germany and (former) Czechoslovakia

Czechoslovakia

Will you become the owner of this one-of-a-kind eye-catcher for your house or office?

The TRIPOD is of top-notch German design and made of oak from the Ore Mountains.

Intelligent construction, of which the middle sections of every leg have been sanded down to an octagonal shape.

Craftsmanship with a capital letter, it works perfectly. The wood has recently been restored, which gives it a warm look.

The metal connections have a wonderful metallic pearled varnish, which is no longer made today.

The LAMP is made from a 1960s Czech photo enlarger (model Opemus IIA, original).
This lamp was made from a Meopta photo negative enlarger, which was converted to a light.
An absolute one-of-a-kind piece and fully handmade, the lamp has warm atmospheric light due to the wonderful Edison lamp that was used.

It is rare because most of them were green, but this one has been painted with grey hammered paint (factory original).

Original wiring with the original switch. Please see photo.

The lamp has an E27 Edison lamp with 4 filaments.
This gives off a beautiful warm colour in evening light.

Depending on how you place the lamp, you get various, remarkable light effects. Even if it is not on, the lamp will be the conversation piece of the evening, mark my words...

Dimensions, use
The height varies from 85 cm to 220 cm.
The lamp itself is 50 cm long, 20 cm high and 30 cm wide.

This approx. 55 year old lamp and older tripod are in fine condition.

Will be packaged well and shipped as 2 parcels.

The lamp will be removed and packaged separately due to risk of damage.
