F. v. Dunkelman for Rozenburg - Ginger pot

Wilhelm Wolff von Gudenberg, from Germany, founded the de N.V. 's Gravenhaagsche Kunstaardewerk Fabriek in a warehouse on the Boekhorststraat in 1883. He was a former employee of De Porceleyne Fles and felt dedicated to bring new life to the traditional blue and coloured Delft earthenware. Unfortunately the factory was discontinued in 1917. This lot consists of a gorgeous hand painted ginger pot, made of earthenware from the early days of the Rozenburg firm between 1886 an 1889. The artist is F. van Dunkelman. F. van Dunkelman was a much praised painter who found his inspiration in nature, birds, flowers and insects. It are these motifs that decorate this ginger pot. Given its age, the item is in very good condition. It does have some light signs of use on the edge and some crackle. It is recommended to take a good look at the photos for a good impression of the condition of the item. It has a height of approx. 11 cm and a diameter of approx. 9 cm. It will be well packaged and sent with insurance.
