Three volumes published by Cesare Ratta, undated (1920s), in folio (35x26 cm), paperbacks.

Vol. I with 32 engravings by 20 artists of the 19th century (Bianchi, Conconi, Fattori, Fontanesi, Piccinni, Rayper, Signorini, etc,) and comment of Alfredo Petrucci. Followed by 125 plates by 30 artists of the 20th century (Baglioni, Bartolini, Boglione, Brugnoli, Carbonati, Casanova, Croatto, etc.) comment by Raffaello Biordi. Cover illustrated by Cisari.
Vol. II with 160 engravings by 45 artists (Bucci, Casanova, D’Achiardi, Disertori, Fagiuoli, Ferro, Fegarotti, Forghieri, Galetti, Giorgi, Gorni, Graziosi, Grondona, Guaccimanni, Lipinsky, Mainini, Maselli, Mentessi, etc.) cover with ill. by Antonio Piccinni applied on the plate.
Vol. III and last with 160 engravings by 52 artists, cover with ill. by Pietro Pietra applied on the plate,
Description of the flaws: Vol. I in good condition, well bound, missing 4 cm of paper on the back of the top edge, squares with small tears. Vol. II: partially loose due to the thread breaking, loose cover with small tears on the squares, a small tear of about 1 cm on the long edge affecting the first blank page and the subsequent 4 sheets. Vol. III: partially loose due to the thread breaking, loose cover with small tears on the squares, deformation and water stains on the sheets around the bottom edge.

Printed in 500 copies on matte gravure paper All copies are machine-numbered from 1 to 500 The copies described are no. 418, 114, and 12 respectively.
