Trucks in de jaren zestig, een tijdsbeeld - Volumes 1 to 10 - oblong-shaped 295 x 190 mm NEW

Magazine ‘Trucks in de jaren zestig, een tijdsbeeld, met hier en daar een zijsprong naar autobussen, grondverzet, hijswerk, lang- en zwaar transport en schaalmodellen’. Picture books, volumes 1 to 10, NEW, without inscriptions. They contain a wealth of information (approx. 900 pages in total) and thousands of photos (colour and black and white) and are a must for the collector Dhr. Theo Wieringa (Haarlem 1931) developed an interest in cars in general and freight traffic in particular, since an early age. His hobby led to the creation of the magazine "Speciaal Transport Magazine" that, after 18 years, had a circulation count of 6600 copies. At the time of his retirement in 1998, Mr. Wieringa sold a the magazine and his desire grew to realise his long cherished wish to publish a book. And so came to pass; 2000 saw the publication of his first book with the title: "Ondeelbare Lading". Because of its great success, 3 more volumes would follow. In 2002, the first part of the book series "Trucks in de jaren 60" appeared. All these books were filled with materials from Mr. Wieringa’s elaborate archive that he had built from the 1950s, during which he would go cross country on his 125 cc DKW, and later his 250 cc Adler-twin, to capture many freight cars on film. And not only that; he also collected information about where the photos were taken, the types of cars, their owners and some details.
