VERY GOOD CONDITION - BLACK BAKELITE - NEVER USED

Country: Germany
Period: 20th - mid (WW II)
Condition: Good

WW2 German Luftwaffe Fahrtmesser Air Speed Indicator - Fl.22230 " Original-Bruhn, Berlin ", 60 – 550 km/h , as used ONLY in the Ar79, Ju52, Me108, Bu181, He111 Do17, and Do24!

N.B : read the whole description of the instrument and the story of where it was found because it is beautiful. Below are all the features of the dial and the back, translated from German to English.

What I offer you today is one of the objects recovered in a German aircraft auction of the second world war, questio and other instruments were discovered in a depot of east europe 60 meters deep in the caves where the indocubated Germans were producing airplanes, and above all new reaction prototypes during the Second World War. And as you can see the conditions are exceptional even if they have been underground, inside these caves for 80 years. Only for this historical news these pieces have an exceptional collector's historical value . It is a speedometer that was present on many German warplanes, such as the Ar79, Ju52, Me108, Bu181, He111 Do17, and Do24. Chirstically among these you will notice the famous "Junkers Ju 52" that launched the famous German paratroopers the "fallschirmjager". Or the very famous bombarding "DO 17".

HERE ALL FEATURES :

The speedometer: it is in exceptional conditions its black bakelite does not report any damage, the quadrant starts from 60 km / h up to 550 km / h.
The yellow and white / silver tritium indices are all intact and without any damage. Even the tritium numbers do not report any damage, and the speed hand is also completely intact.

The Quadrant:
The dial as well as the whole speedometer is completely intact and without any damage.
Only the lancet has lost a little yellow, and is not fixed to the central hole. I did not want to put hands in this I prefer to leave them as they were found.
The metal surround around the glass has lost some black paint revealing the color of the metal.

At the center on the top above the lancet is the symbol of the manufacturer "which is formed by a T and an X with wings", and under the word "ORIGINAL BRUHN".
Below the writing on the left a little above the number "200" is the production number that is also reported on the back of the instrument "W 102469"

On the right side instead of the number "500" there is the serial code of this instrument "FL 22230"

The back :
The back of the instrument, as the whole instrument is in new condition.

The sockets: the 2 sockets that connect the instrument to the motors, are still covered with their brown leather / rope cover.
-On the Right side of the upper socket there is the inscription: Stat. Druck (Stat. Pressure)
-On the right side of the lower socket there is the inscription: Meßdruck (measuring pressure)

The symbol of the manufacturer with the inscription "ORIGINAL BRUHN" is once again weighing under the sockets.

On the right side next to the manufacturer's symbol, there is a white "BA 2050" acceptance stamp.

On the left side of the sockets there is a rectangle with the following inscriptions inside:

German language : English language :
Fahrtmesser für : 60 - 550 Airspeed indicator for: 60 - 550
Bauart : Original Bruhn Type: Original Bruhn
Gerät - Nr : 127 - 501 B-1 Device No: 127 - 501 B-1
Werk - Nr : 102469 Work - No: 102469
Anforderz : Fl 22230 Required: Fl 22230
Hersteller : Bruhn Werke Manufacturer: Bruhn Werke

This week you can win an exceptional piece in new condition, which was for 80 years in a German underground storage that then mined and closed any entry along with other instruments.
