Fernando SPANO was born on March 13, 1965 in Veglie (Lecce/Italy).
From 1983 to 1986 he collaborated first as an apprentice and then as an assistant for an art studio in Lecce.
From 1987 to 1991 he started his artistic career in many group exhibitions and solo exhibitions, organised at many art galleries and exhibition areas (Lecce, Milan, Padua, Parma).
In particular, there were two important artworks on commission.
From 1998 to 1999, commissioned by Conte Leone De Castris, he carried out a fresco for the family chapel.
In 2004 he took part at the MIART in Milan and in the same year he was commissioned to make a portrait of Ali Mohamad, Head of Mission of the League of ARAB STATES in Italy.
He submitted some of his works to an auction house in Miami (U.S.A.) and the auction bases were starting from even $10000.00 / $15000.00, as you can check by visiting his Facebook account (in the summer of 2017, in addition, the artist Fernando Spano established his Official Archive located in the city of Lecce / ITALY)
