Fairly new condition - long barrel
|Period:||19th - late|
Very nice cyclist pistol in a luxury finish in calibre 6mm from the end of the 19th century.
Cyclist pistols are common weapons, on the other hand, only a few offer an exemplary finish with butt plates in finely grid walnut. It has especially a Mexican relaxation as well as a long barrel of 23 cm with small tube in woods under the thunder, also finely grid.
This pistol with one shot reveals the punch of German control, end 19th century, namely the crowned "U", as well as the punch reserved for foreign arms, the crowned 'B'. The marking of the calibre on the left side of the weapon is still visible.
The barrel is octagonal and then round, with a length of 230 mm and with absolutely perfect grooves, sign of use and always neat cleaning.
The weapon is entirely original, bronze is present at 99% with tiny traces of oxidation, steel parts are impeccable with a very fine surface oxidation. Plates have very small traces of blows at the heel but no missing.
The operation is perfect, parts are very tightly and all the pieces for percussion are impeccable. The hammer, the firing pin and the extractor work perfectly. The grip is ideal, and this rare version is in perfect condition of shooting and preservation.
Total length: 300 mm
Barrel length: 230 mm
