Smith & Wesson model 1 second issue caliber .22 rimfire produced from 1860 till 1868. The revolver is in very good working condition. It has good strong springs and good alignment. There is no play at the hinge. The revolver is silver plated with still 98% silver present. The barrel and cilinder are originaly blued with still some remains left. Engraved initials of a former owner on the grip 'G.M. Smith'.
Good readable barrel address on top of the barrel reading "Smith&Wesson Springfield. Mass". The patent adress on the cilinder is clearly present.
Rosewood grips in very good condition with 95% of their original varnish.
The barrel is clean and has very good visible stripes.
