Interesting post-war 35mm Camera.

1949 NEIDIG 'Perlux' 35mm Camera. Manufactured in West Germany from 1949 by Neidig Company. The Perlux is crafted from cast aluminium, with panels of black leatherette. A lovely camera with a quality finish, the camera comes in very good condition, with small signs of use/wear. The body is excellent and has an optical sports viewfinder. The Prontor-S shutter works throughout the range and the focusable f2.8 45mm Kataplast lens appears clean and focuses smoothly. It comes complete with a faux alligator-skin case, which has seen better days, (see photos).
A rare and historically interesting little camera.
