925/1000, 21.5cm, 808gr.
A pair of English antique sterling silver salvers each on three shaped feet, both hallmarked from London in 1833 with the makers mark being that of Joseph & John Angell.
They both have the same identical inscription which reads " presented together with a timepiece to Miss Grafton by her friends of the Congregational church Bowdon Downs 20th October 1858".
No damage or repairs but should be noted one has 3 or 4 small pinhead sized dinks evident pretty much only when you move around in the light (very minor), the same one has some stubborn marks on the underside edge that have not been removed by hand polishing.
They each measure 215mm in diameter.
