Scottish basket hilt, probably an older end 19 century copy in 18th century Highland style. Very nice detailed iron basket hilt, flash rust on the inside. Leather handle with wire windings. Leather basket upholstery in good condition, some stains, however.
Wide (4.5 cm) cut blade with three gullies. Blade has dark spots and locally light pitting. Black leather sheath containing motifs and iron frames in good condition. All metal parts have a dark patina. Total length 98 cm weight sword 1350 grams.

Grip covered in leather with copper wire. Leather basket lining in good order, some stains on the inside buckskin. Broad ( 4.5 cm ) sharpened blade with three fullers. Blade has dark spots and some light pitting. Black leather scabbard with motives and iron mounts all in good order. All the metal parts have an even dark patina. total length 98 cm, sword weight 1350 grams.
