Bols ballerina liqueur bottle with music box
A vintage Bols liqueur bottle with music mechanism and dancing ballerina.
The ballerina turns around and her legs wobble.
The melody played is “Le Bleu Danube”(Viennese Waltz).
The Bols bottle was filled with gold liqueur containing gold-coloured flakes, these were popularly also called bridal tears because the bottle was poured during wedding parties.
The bottle is 24.5 cm in height, and is in an original and good working condition.
A similar bottle is shown off in the “Speelklok museum” in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
