From my own collection, a gorgeous Delft Blue earthenware (delftware) lamp foot with shade. The lamp foot has a round belly with a leaf and flower decor, blue on white. Hand painted and clearly marked. Intact (mint condition). It has the year code ‘CS’, meaning 1973. The model number is ‘1016’. The painter’s initials are ‘A.B.R.’. It has a foot diameter of 15 cm. It has a height of 42 cm, including the hood. It weighs 1,340 grams. The world famous Delft earthenware has a rich history going back to the early 1600s. Of the approx. 32 earthenware factories that were founded in the 17th century, Royal Delft is the only factory left in Delft.
