This bronze vanity mirror, which is produced under supervision of the world famous costume designer Romain de Tirtoff himself, based on his costumes and decorations for the Russian ballet in Moscow, the Ballet Russe in Paris and many shows in America. The bottom mirror is not original and slightly worn on the edge. Please see photo. These designs cover the period around 1900 in Russia, 1920/30 in Paris and after the war the American showbusiness in New York and Los Angeles and film. Even though the sculpture has not been produced during those years, these are authentic sculptures, which give a rendering of the costume designs from that time and the talent of Romain de Tirtoff, who lived from 23 November 1892 till 21 April 1990.
