Bohemia. Vase in hand-blown 24% lead crystal, sophisticated, splendidly detailed design. Entirely ground, cut and chiselled by hand. Very elaborate brilliant cut glass, featuring picturesque snowflake motifs, on square base with sawtooth edge and central decoration of 24-point star, made by skilled glassmakers. With oval label in blue paper, with inscription in gold lettering which reads: 'Hand Cut Lead Crystal 24% Pbo Bohemia made in Czechoslovakia' Dimensions: rim diameter 20 cm, height 25.5 cm. Weight: approx. 4 kg. Original item. Origin: Czech Republic. Dating back to the first half of the 20th Century. Flared shape, made using the classical technique of the traditional blown glass, cut, engraved and sandblasted strictly by hand with stone discs, without using automatic machinery or computers, following the traditional and exclusive art of pure Bohemian lead crystal. In good condition, perfect to the naked eye, no chips or cracks.
