A bit of history on this porcelain plate:
it was sold at Christie's auction in London in the historic
Harrods store (original invoice available).
This plate type is called nanking cargo, moulded
in the famous jingdezhen furnaces, this variety
was mistakenly sunk at the bottom of the South Chinese Sea
during its transport via ship because the pilot hit
some rocks making the ship sink.
After many years the content was found and sold at auction.
