The adress can be changed with Märklin Mobile- or Control station or any other control corresponding to the protocol. It can also be driven analog and Märklin recommends a trafo 6647 for this. Beware(!): The train runs fine on both M- and c-rails The long cars also touch lanterns on M-rail turnouts of the old type. As long as driven on the main line it will work out just fine. The lights change White/red due to direction. The coaches are bound together with cables for this function.
