Large tooth of the extinct big tooth shark; Carcharocles megalodon. This tooth is 13.5 cm long and 9,4 cm wide. The tooth comes from the lower jaw. It was surfaced by a friend who is a diver, in the Atlantic Ocean about 60 km off the coast of South Carolina. The tooth comes from the Miocene and is between 15 and 20 million years old. The photos speak for themselves.
