Schuco, US Zone Germany - Length 14 cm - Studio 1050 Mercedes Racer with clockwork motor in original packaging, 1950s

A very intact and complete working Schuco racing car, caption US Zone Germany, made from 1946 to 1960. The original red paint is in excellent condition, no damage and also has not been repainted anywhere. Even the original red rubber wheel at the bottom centre is fully intact, but hardened. The wind-up mechanism let’s itself be wound up and works without problems. The wheels, steering, tyres, etc. could be removed with these toy racing cars and the steering mechanism also works. The original tyres have some flattened spots, but it drives fine. Including original rare packaging, is only missing all its side flaps (1 side loosely included) Including original Schuco wind-up key / key and loose accessories. Note: The metal differential plate between the rear wheels is stapled, as seen on the picture of bottom. For the reproductions from the 1980s that is no longer stapled and entirely smooth. I’m selling the original version here and not a replica from the 1980s or later.
