Produced in Japan, around 1977 The Technics SL-2000 is a very solid turntable with excellent performance that you can enjoy undisturbed for many more years. As you can see on the pictures, this item is in very nice condition. The player only has some light signs of wear. The dust cover is also still in very beautiful condition and only has some light scratches. Comes with the excellent Technics 271CES cartridge and new needle. The adapter for 45 rpm singles is included. Direct drive, provided with an independent pitch control with strobe, anti skating and automatic turnoff. The SL-2000 is a semi-automatic: you move the arm above the record and the platter automatically starts. The arm automatically returns at the end of the record and the spinning plateau stops. This device can last for many years because of its robust build quality and timeless stylish black design. Platter with strobe to fine-tune the speed. Pitch control with 10% +/- speed.
